Norwescon was a blast!

Thank you so much to all of our friends for taking the time to hang with us in the coffee shop and the bar, even if we were sometimes at different tables!  I'm looking at you spencimusprime ! 

We got a chance to hear readings by Stephanie Weippert, Spencer Ellsworth and Keffy Kehrli.  We attended many of the panels on topics related to writing (and I have some ideas about inviting some of the speakers to speak at future Cascade Writers events).

I was pleased to hear that Corry Lee won Writers of the Future last year -- she spoke on one of the panels we attended. 

All in all, it was a great experience and I look forward to attending again year after year.

All of the seats have been filled for the 2012 Cascade Writers workshop.  However, we are taking names for a waiting list and we may open up another workshop group if we get 4-5 more interested people and can find another instructor on such short notice.  We'll also have a pre-registration form for 2013 up on our website in the next few days.  Please see www.CascadeWriters.com for more information.

Our friend plunderpuss has announced he's been accepted into the Clarion West workshop this summer!  We are so delighted for him!

Cascade Writers would like to hire someone for a couple of hours a week to help with the promo for our organization.  It would involve Twitter, blogs, and other outlets (if you can suggest some, we would love you for it.)

It has been suggested that I could just do it myself, but really, I need help.
